This Cookie Policy explains how QR by Elevate Links (operated by Elevate Hub Agency LLC) uses cookies and similar storage. We keep it minimal: strictly necessary cookies always run; analytics and advertising cookies (Google Analytics, Meta Pixel) run only on our marketing pages and only after you accept the banner. We never set cookies on visitors who scan a QR code.
1. What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files a website stores on your device. Similar technologies include localStorage and sessionStorage. They let a site remember your session and preferences between visits.
2. Strictly necessary cookies
Required for the site to work. We use a Supabase authentication session cookie (HTTP-only) to keep you signed in, a single-session device identifier (qrg_device) to protect your account, and a short-lived referral cookie (qrg_ref) when you arrive via a referral link. These cannot be disabled because the Service would not function without them.
3. Preference storage
We store your theme (light/dark) and language in your browser's localStorage so the site looks the way you left it. This never leaves your device and contains no personal data.
4. Security cookies
When CAPTCHA protection is active we load Cloudflare Turnstile, which may set its own cookies (_cf, _fbp is only set if you use a marketing link) strictly to tell humans from bots during sign-up and sign-in.
5. Analytics
If enabled, we use privacy-respecting analytics (Google Analytics 4 and/or Meta Pixel) only on our marketing pages to understand traffic. These run only after you accept the cookie banner. You can decline and the site still works fully.
6. Visitors who scan a QR code
Important: when someone scans a QR created with our Service we DO NOT set any cookies or storage on their device, and we do not fingerprint them. Scan analytics are anonymous and aggregated for the QR owner. That is why no cookie banner appears before a scan redirect.
7. Managing cookies
You can accept or decline non-essential cookies from the banner shown on your first visit, and clear all cookies anytime from your browser settings. Blocking strictly necessary cookies may prevent you from signing in.
